Donor Registration

A person wishing to become a future Organtree donor, simply registers for free with Organtree and provides us with their location, blood type and a few other details.

Once the donor is deceased, their nominated beneficiary is eligible to get an agreed amount to help offset funeral costs resulting from the donor’s death from a matching recipient who requires an organ transplant and is also registered with Organ tree.

Recipient Registration

Recipients wishing to become eligible to receive donated organs from Organtree donors, simply register with us and pay an administration fee of €30. This gives them a lifetime registration on the Organtree system.

When a donor’s organs become available for donation and the recipient is matched up by a medical practitioner through the Organtree system, then the recipient has the option of accepting the donated organ and reimbursing the donor’s beneficiary an agreed amount to help offset funeral costs resulting from the donor’s death.

Medical Practitioner Registration

The Organtree platform is also designed to accept free registrations from Medical practitioners. They can use the platform to run searches with the view of making provisional matches between Organtree recipients and donors based on their age, location and blood type.

Once the donor is deceased, their nominated beneficiary is eligible to be reimbursed to help offset funeral costs from a matching recipient who requires an organ transplant and is also registered with Organ tree.
